TRIM — Know what you're actually paying for.

Subscriptions are designed to be easy to start and easy to forget. TRIM is a plain, private ledger of everything you pay for monthly and yearly, and a nudge before the next charge lands — so renewals are a decision you make rather than a line you notice later on a statement.

What it does

A subscription tracker, and nothing else

No feed, no upsells, no dashboard you have to learn. It holds a list, does the arithmetic, and taps you on the shoulder before a renewal.

  • Everything in one list

Name, price, billing cycle and category for every subscription you have — with colours and icons so you can find one at a glance instead of reading a spreadsheet.

  • Reminders before you're charged

Pick how many days of warning you want and what time of day it arrives. The notification comes before the money moves, which is the only point at which knowing is useful.

  • Free trials that don't convert by accident

Record when a trial ends and TRIM tells you while cancelling is still free. This is the feature that pays for the app, except the app is free.

  • What it actually adds up to

Monthly and yearly totals across everything, so the ₹149 here and the $9.99 there stop hiding from each other. Set a budget and see where you stand against it.

  • No account, no internet

There is no sign-up because there is no server. The Android build does not even request the internet permission — it has no technical means of sending your data anywhere.

  • Backups you control

Export everything to a file and put it wherever you like — Files, Drive, email, a USB stick. Moving to a new phone is a restore, not a re-typing exercise.

How it works

Three steps, then it gets out of the way

  1. Add what you pay for

Type in each subscription with its price and renewal date. It takes one sitting, and it is the last time you will have to think about the whole list at once.

  2. Choose your warning

Set how far ahead you want to be told — a day, three days, a week — and when. Reminders are scheduled by your phone, not by us.

  3. Decide before it renews

When the reminder arrives, keep it or cancel it. TRIM will not cancel anything for you, but it makes sure the choice reaches you in time to make it.

Privacy

We cannot see your data, because we never get it

Most finance apps ask you to trust a privacy policy. TRIM is built so that trusting us is not required — there is no server for your data to reach.

  • No sign-up, no login, no account — nothing to create and nothing to be leaked.
  • No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifier, no third-party SDKs.
  • No ads, anywhere in the app.
  • The Android build requests no internet permission at all.
  • The iOS build requests no camera, photo library, location or tracking permissions.
  • Your data sits in the app's private storage. Other apps cannot read it, and neither can we.

The trade-off is real and worth stating: no server also means no sync between devices, and no way for us to recover your list if you lose your phone. Read the full privacy policy.

FAQ

The questions people actually ask

Does TRIM connect to my bank or read my transactions?

No, and that is a deliberate design decision rather than a missing feature. TRIM has no access to your bank, cards or the services you subscribe to. Everything it shows is calculated from what you typed in. The trade-off is that you enter subscriptions yourself; what you get back is an app that cannot leak financial data it never had.

Can TRIM cancel a subscription for me?

No. It reminds you that a renewal is coming and, where possible, points you at the place you cancel. The cancelling itself is always something you do directly with that service. Apps that promise to cancel on your behalf need your account credentials or your bank — TRIM asks for neither.

Is it free?

Yes, and there are no ads. We may add optional paid features later; if we do, anything you have already paid for stays yours and the core tracking remains free.

Is there sync between my phone and tablet?

No. Sync needs a server, a server needs your data, and we decided not to have either. You can move your list between devices with the backup export, which is a manual step — an honest limitation of building it this way.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?

It is gone permanently. Your subscriptions live only on your device, so there is no copy on a server for us to restore. Export a backup before you uninstall the app or reset your phone.

Will reminders always arrive on time?

They are scheduled with your phone's operating system and are reliable in normal use, but they are not a guarantee. Battery optimisation, Low Power Mode, a device that is switched off, or a revoked notification permission can all delay or drop a notification. Treat TRIM as a safety net, not as your only defence against an unwanted charge.

Who makes TRIM?
